The Islamic lender launched ‘BisB Digital’ in 2017, a group of digital services including online banking, video banking and mobile banking.

Bahrain Islamic Bank (BisB) has launched a fully-fledged digital branch which will allow the bank’s customers to perform transactions without human intervention.
The bank’s customers can also open accounts, apply for financing and maintain or update records their as well as seek assistance to bank representatives if they wish through video calling.
Hassan Jarrar, the Chief Executive Officer of BisB, said, “Our new digital branch will provide an exceptional digital experience where almost every task is accomplished online or through video conferencing.”
The bank said that customers can perform cardless cash withdrawals or deposit, cheque book printing as well as card issuance through the use of a dedicated self-service kiosk.
