Swiss private bank, Bank Lombard Odier has announced plans to open a new branch in Abu Dhabi, expanding its existing footprint in the UAE as well as cementing more than half a century’s commitment to clients in the Middle East.

In a statement, the lender stated that the new Abu Dhabi branch will complement Lombard Odier’s representative office in Dubai.

Arnaud Leclercq, the Capital Partner and Head of New Markets at Lombard Odier, said, “Opening a branch office in the UAE’s capital will bring us closer to our clients and allow us to serve them onshore with bespoke, local solutions.”

In 2018 the bank’s discretionary mandate was certified as Shari’ah compliant by the Shari'ah Supervisory Board of Amanie Advisors.
