Dubai’s SHUAA Capital has appointed Jassim Alseddiqi as the new Chief Executive Officer and the financial services group also named several other top executives.

Shuaa Capital stated that the company has appointed Mustafa Kheriba as deputy Chief Executive Officer while Joachim Mueller has been appointed as the Chief Financial Officer with Bechara Raad as the company’s Chief Operating Officer.

Last month, the firm agreed to sell its SHUAA Securities brokerage and market-making businesses in the UAE to a subsidiary of International Holdings Company. The deal was part of the combined entity’s strategy to exit non-core businesses and focus on investment banking and asset management.
